That’s right, there’s a literal printer for eyebrows now. Officially titled L’Oréal Brow Magic, this next-level beauty innovation is essentially a handheld printer stocked with cosmetic-grade ink that prints perfectly sculpted eyebrows, with individual strokes to mimic real hairs, right on top of your brows in seconds.
To use, simply scan your face in the free Brow Magic app to get brow shape recommendations (which you can literally ‘try on’ using the app) that are best suited for your face and natural brow shape. You can even tweak the suggested brows, making them thinner or thicker, for example, until you like what you see looking back at you. Then you’re ready to get printing! Here’s a quick demo:
As you can see in the video, the ultra-impressive printer applicator is packed with sensors that understand how fast you’re moving (to dispense ink at the right speed) and can detect the hair itself, allowing it to print hundreds of hair-like structures around the hair to shape the brow perfectly. Plus, the ink is designed to last up to two days (or it can be removed sooner with regular makeup remover) so you don’t have to worry about them smudging, like with most eyebrow products.
The highly-anticipated L’Oréal Brow Magic brow printer will be available at the end of the year, and while the exact price hasn’t been set yet, it’s rumored to retail for approximately $175 USD.
