If you’ve never seen UV dye in action, like the white-to-pink dress that @izzipoopi recently made go viral, then you are in for a treat.
As you can see from Izzi’s video, UV-dyed apparel changes color instantly when exposed to sunlight, and the process is nothing short of magical. However, most of these statement-making pieces don’t come cheap (the above dress is literally $555), so I was thrilled to find another creator taking matters into her own hands creating DIY UV-dyed apparel.
The company behind the DIY UV dye is Solar Color Dust, and they literally have hundreds of color transition dyes to choose from (my favorites are ‘Black to Colorless’ and ‘Denim to Bubblegum’). I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to try out this incredible product!
