If you’re on social media, you will have undoubtedly seen a new fashion trend gaining major momentum: the denim maxi skirt. This floor-skimming little number has been everywhere lately, and for good reason. Since it’s essentially a full-length pair of jeans with the middle seams attached, the denim maxi skirt makes for a versatile wardrobe staple that’s easy to style no matter the season or occasion. And with a chic front-split hem, which allows for a flash of skin between the heavy, floor-scraping fabric, it can easily be paired with everything from ballet flats to knee-high boots, crop tops to chunky knits, and literally everything in between.
