After countless months of speculation, our hopes have finally been confirmed today. Nike’s next collaboration will be with none other than…Jacquemus!! Almost three years in the making, the Jacquemus + Nike collection promises to deliver “sensual sportswear” that combines the designer’s iconic aesthetic with Nike’s advanced apparel technology.
The exact collection details are still under wraps, but I did a little digging and confirmed the collaboration was designed with, get this, Princess Diana and tennis as the main sources of inspiration (is this real life?!). The neutral-toned 15-piece collection is rumored to include a pleated skirt (I have yet to see it but already know I need it), a pair of pearl white seamless bike shorts, a backless dress (seen in the cover of this article), Humara sneakers with a tiny swoosh (sounds adorable), and a bucket hat (also need). I can already envision it all and am screaming!!
Jacquemus + Nike is set to launch on June 28, 2022, exclusively at Jacquemus.com and will hit select Nike retailers at the start of summer (exact date TBC).
