I FINALLY DISCOVERED AN ALUMINUM-FREE DEODORANT THAT WORKS, IN A SCENT THAT WILL SHOCK YOU

For what seems like forever, I have been on the hunt for an effective aluminum-free deodorant, but time and time again, every brand I tried was a huge disappointment, leaving me less-than-fresh at the end of the day. I had finally reached the point where I thought that natural deodorants might not be for me, and reluctantly returned to my tried and true aluminum based brand. Knowing the potential harmful effects aluminum is rumored to have, and being well aware that literally plugging your sweat glands (aluminums sole role) is probably not the healthiest solution to combating sweat, I decided to give a natural option one last shot when I stumbled across Native.

Initially, it wasn’t the brand or packaging that caught my eye, it was the scent...Oat Milk Latte! Strange? Yes. Exceeding all expectations for what it would actually smell like? Also yes. The limited edition formula, named after my go-to coffee order (could it be fate?), combines clove, chocolate, and sandalwood to give you what is the most delicious smelling deodorant I have come across in my entire life. I literally wanted to take a bite of it right there in the middle of Target, it was that good. But, would it actually work? I headed to the register to soon find out!

A week into using Native’s Oat Milk Latte Deodorant and I can confirm that it protects against odor better than any other natural product I’ve ever used. Aluminum-free, paraben-free, talc-free, and cruelty-free, this is officially my favorite beauty discovery of the year. And at just $12 a pop (compared to some high-end competitors selling natural deodorants for almost double that), it’s a total steal!

Native Oat Milk Latte Deodorant – $12.00

Native’s deodorizing capabilities come from baking soda, which helps to neutralize odor-causing bacteria; tapioca starch, which absorbs moisture to keeps your pits feeling dry; and lactobacillus acidophilus, a probiotic that helps bring balance to the skin, thus lessening odor. It also contains coconut oil and shea butter, revered for their antioxidants and moisturizing properties, leaving your underarms silky smooth.

And with other limited edition scents that include Cherry & Vanilla Macaron, Earl Grey & Mulberry, and Matcha & Sweet Cream, I am seriously debating buying the entire Native deodorant collection.
