There are few things that kill your confidence quicker than waking up to an angry breakout. Cystic acne, dark spots, dullness, pigmentation, you name it—I’ve had it! In fact, my skin has been something I’ve struggled on and off with for most of my teen years and all the way into adulthood…until now.
I recently discovered a skincare secret that’s just too good not to share. I literally want to shout from the rooftops about this product, which isn’t something I’ve experienced before with any of my skincare. AND by some miracle, it costs less than €8 for a bottle! So what is this magic product you’re probably wondering…it’s the AHA 30% + BHA Peeling Solution by The Ordinary:
This at-home chemical peel promises the smoothest, brightest skin of your life in 10 minutes, and WOW does it deliver. ‘How?!’ you might ask? Well, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) exfoliate the skin’s top layer, while beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) go deeper to clear pore congestion. The result? Less blemishes and a major boost in skin radiance. Another added bonus, once the dead skin cells are peeled away, your other products can now fully sink in and achieve maximum effectiveness.
Now, I can’t say I can give full credit to this product for clearing up my skin, I believe a major diet change (farewell processed foods!) played a huge part in this as well, but it has given me incredible results in addition to those I’ve experienced with my clean eating. These 2 elements are a winning combo for sure!
The only issue…getting your hands on a bottle! Not surprisingly, this stuff flies off the shelf faster than toilet paper during a pandemic, so finding it in-stock is a bit of a challenge. I got lucky in-store at a Deciem shop located in Amsterdam. So do some research and hopefully there is an authorized The Ordinary retailer near you (warning: only buy this product from reputable sources as there are many fake formulas of this product in the market).
I’m curious, have you ever tried the AHA 30% + BHA Peeling Solution by The Ordinary? If so, what was your experience?
