The latest coffee drink taking the internet by storm, dalgona “whipped” coffee, is as tasty as it is photogenic. Better yet, it only requires a few common ingredients you likely already have at home.
-2 tbsp instant coffee
-2 tbsp sugar
-2 tbsp hot water
-Soy milk (or whatever milk you prefer, soy is just my favorite for this recipe)
- In a small bowl, add the instant coffee, sugar and hot water. Using hand-held mixer, whip until it gets light and fluffy.
- Add a couple of ice cubes to a glass, pour in your milk leaving 1 inch of empty space at the top.
- Using a spoon, add the frothed coffee mixture on top. Serve immediately.
For a hint of chocolate, finish with a sprinkle with cocoa powder.
To prevent your coffee from getting watered down as the ice cubes melt, use ice cubes made from coffee instead!
To make it a party, add 1-2 tsp of Baileys into the coffee mixture in step 1. Enjoy!
